Matfield Green is located 2 hours southwest of Kansas City and 1 hour northeast of Wichita on the Flint Hills Scenic Byway (HWY 177).

The Bank Art Space is located in the heart of Matfield Green on the west side of Kansas Highway  177,  the Flint Hills National Scenic Byway.

Ten minutes north of the Cassoday exit from Interstate 35; one hour north-east of Wichita; two hours west of Kansas City.

Ninety minutes south of Interstate 70 near Manhattan (via Council Grove).

Twenty minutes south of Highway 50 at Strong City, fifteen minutes south of Cottonwood Falls.

Matfield Green, Chase County, the Tallgrass National Preserve and the surrounding tallgrass prairie deserve a longer stay than just passing through. At The Bank, you will find information about Chase County, the Flint Hills, and the Tallgrass prairie.

Matfield Green

In Matfield Green, several private homes and guesthouses are available to visitors.

Matfield Station is a former railroad worker bunkhouse located surrounded by miles of walking paths. Two units are available: the South Unit and the Middle Unit.
