In summer 2021 we began hosting intimate hangouts with residents and visiting creative friends in everybody’s favorite tiny town on the prairie, Matfield Green, Kansas. The 17 happenings in July and August had a range of topics as wide as the prairie sky.
We continued in summer 2022 as we built on the success and fulfillment of the previous year. We hosted intimate hangouts covering as many topics as there are varieties of wildflowers, welcoming residents, visitors, and friends for 17 more hangouts in Matfield Green.
Thanks to a grant from our friends at Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts, the series returns for 2023 with a few returning presenters and some new ones — see the full schedule below.
